Promotion Begins
Mood:  mischievious
Now Playing: Bombay 2: Electric Vindaloo
Just a note that promotional appearances are starting albeit lightly because the book isn't finished yet. The first appearance will be May 28th with our friends at Captain Blue Hen Comics right on the University of Delaware campus. We'll be appearing the same time as writer/artist Neil Vokes who we are huge fans of. This is just one of those "seize the moment" type things. It is linked from the Agropolis City section that I just put up the other day. I'll be adding to that section in the coming days. I am in the process of looking for a new host because we have very minimal webspace to use which is ashame because we can get like a gigabyte of email space all across the web yet people are still stingy with webspace despite the fact they flood them with pop-ups and banner ads.
I must return to work now.

what really is going on
Mood:  not sure
Now Playing: The Greatest Hits of Maze featuring Frankie Beverly
Too much is going on I suppose.
I have one project I am working on that I am actually contracted to do and it is for a big company using established characters that haven't been used in 20 years. So I am picking up where the cliffhanger left off...20 years ago! I can't post what it is about but a synopsis and summary is due in June. If it gets approved my name will be above the title with a known filmaker, a major publisher, and an artist who is about as big as I am at the moment, so pretty much unknown. So, yeah, I am writing it no artwork which suits me fine for now.
Another thing is writing stories past on past experiences that happened to me but not really. Confusing? Yeah, I got to be cryptic I suppose. That's 2 things since the last post...but wait there's more(it's like a Ronco infomercial!).
Suppose I said I wrote a love story that appealed to men just as much or more than women. It has been done. I'd say the first Rocky film and Goodfellas are prime examples. Just look at the TV Guide and see that Goodfellas pops up on Lifetime from time to time. So I am doing a love story screenplay. Or did do it, depending who you ask. Well, that's probably the closest thing to see the light of day right now and that is a good thing.
Another thing I was asked is why i don't use this blog to post opinions on whatever is going on in the world. I say, "Not yet." I am nobody now, whatever I say or do may be used against me while I am working toward my goals, once I get my foot in the door then I will have my say.
And also, be sure to go to Captain Blue Hen comic shop in delaware if you are in the area May 9th for Free Comic Book Day. I'll be there with some well-known comic artists. You can see the information at www.captainbluehen.com
And in closing I want to state publicly congratulations to John Kerr who is marrying in September, I look forward to being there. I am going to be working with him on a handful of things in the coming months as soon as we both clear up some time.
See you next time.

Jumping on the blog bandwagon.
Mood:  not sure
Now Playing: MF Doom Mmm Food
So now there is a blog to replace the news updates which will be easier.

The site needs updating but I don't know what can go up yet and what can't.

We took some ashcan comics to Los Angeles and put them in the hands of people who we want to see them. Among some of the people on the list are: Erik Larsen, president of Image Comics and creator of Savage Dragon; on-the-rise movie-star Ryan Reynolds; Hollywood big man and star of ER Abe Benrubi(Kubiac from Parker Lewis Can't Lose); wrestler and comic book store owner Rob Van Dam; and many others. The ashcan comic is available to anyone who wants it for $2 shipped.

It was a good visit and I will have more about it soon.

I am going to start doing freelance work again via www.elance.com while i continue to work on the comic book series which will launch soon.
That's all for the time being.
